The Asphalt Quality Control Technician is responsible for monitoring asphalt paving processes, testing materials, and ensuring compliance with industry and project-specific standards.
Supports the Project Manager on concrete construction projects — scheduling, budgeting, procurement, subcontractor coordination, documentation, and quality control from pre-construction through closeout.
Commercial Tanker Truck Driver transports construction materials safely to job sites and assists with general highway construction tasks when not driving to ensure smooth project operations.
The Construction Crew Laborer performs essential physical tasks in highway construction projects, working with crews to maintain efficient and safe job site operations.
Leads dirt and pipe crews through site prep, earthwork, underground utilities, storm drainage, and grading — coordinating labor, equipment, and subcontractors to finish safely, on schedule, and to plan.
Inspects, maintains, diagnoses, and repairs the heavy equipment used on highway construction projects, keeping the fleet running safely and minimizing breakdowns.
The Heavy Equipment Operator safely handles machinery for site grading, excavation, and road construction, operating dozers, trackhoes, and/or motor graders while following safety protocols.
Operates the motor grader to excavate, level, and grade highway project surfaces to design grade, working with the crew to keep projects safe and on schedule.
Samples and tests aggregates used in Hot Mix Asphalt production to keep paving within specification. No experience required — on-the-job training toward QC certification.
Sets up and monitors traffic control devices and flagging stations around construction zones, keeping crews and the traveling public safe. On-the-job training provided.
Sets up and maintains traffic control around work zones and supports the construction crew with general labor when not flagging. On-the-job training provided.
